Have I mentioned before that Kelsey LOVES all bugs? Here she is with a HUGE moth...she was so excited to hold it and then let it go. Another 'friend'! It had the BIGGEST beady eyes...

The State Fair & The Red Iguana

We went to the UT State Fair yesterday afternoon and had a fantastic time. David LOVED all of the animals and Kelsey really enjoyed it too. We focused on the animals this time around and skirted through the 'carnival' piece as quickly as we could...Of course since we were in the neighborhood, we just had to finish at the Red Iguana. Another lovely meal...another really messy floor!

Family Time

Moon Lake - Uintas - Ashley National Forest

We went on a little adventure this weekend to the Uintas and stayed at a very rustic cabin at Moon Lake in the Ashley National Forest. While not entirely relaxing, it was fun to be away from home and the kids had a great time. Kelsey had a chance to go fishing with Steve, we went on a hike around the lake, played on the beach, roasted some marshmallows, and of course made sure to do some bug catching. It was also buffalo gnat season...one was especially fond of David.
